The Century Fireblade GT's

I must resist, i must resist... 🤣 🤣

Ian.
With me, it's more a case of "I can't afford & can't justify", "I can't afford & can't justify", "I can't afford & can't justify"!

What kind of weight are these rods, does anyone know?
Not sure, have a look on their website Thrash, far too expensive as I already have 6 sea rods, 7 spinning and 6 fly rods I think that is enough.

The GT will probably weigh a little bit more than the carbon one..

Ian.

The only way to be REALLY REALLY sure Ian is to,dare I say it.Buy a pair and compare.;) Go Compare.😂
That is a very good idea, but i must resist. 🤣 But, i could just get one to see what it's like...;)

Ian.

Interesting. Personally I'm not at all convinced by the "how much does it weigh" train of thought with beach rods. It's a lot more about balance for me. Add to that the fact that most beachcasters are sitting in a tripod the majority of time....so why does weight matter much unless you're fishing an unbalanced set up (or you're a weakling that needs to grow a set of muscles)?

Not sure it makes much difference either , how do you make an unbalanced set up ?

If I hadn't bought graphex supermatches, I'd Def get a pair of the new Fireblades to go with my original pair....but now can't really justify a pair I don't think 🤔
A mate had the final version for testing, looked very nice, good tip, and lots of power lower down.
I'm in exactly the same position. Could have saved me a few quid...
