Advice New Rods Advice Needed

I like them especially reel down. Being only a couple of pieces of plastic and a pin they don't last for ever but the release is surpisingly crisp and clean with little snatch
I've just had a google and it looks good šŸ‘

Had one kindly donated by Mike hemming on here ( thanks again Mike) and get on with it well and suits an Alvey and braid keeping fingers out of harms way and without would bin the Alvey I thinkšŸ¤”
So if anyone out there wants to sell one then yes please.šŸ‘
I think I have two.... not a clue where they are. But when I see them I will post them on here. Remind me it was you when I do.

Has anyone here got the Fireblades? Or maybe had a try of one?
Iā€™ve cast one of my mateā€™s ones and although it was reel up (Iā€™m a down the butt kind of guy) it felt ok and went plenty far enough. Hereā€™s a screen grab from the video he did.

Not alot to report Ian, still trying to find a Fireblade GT to check out. I'm 90% going to go for the Fireblade GT. Still keeping an eye out on FB Market place incase anything good comes up in the mean time. How's my Daiwa Tournament Pro mate? Has it arrived yet? šŸ¤£

Thanks Ian yeah I just want to see them in the flesh before I commit. I saw someone post couple of days ago that they received their new Fireblade GT from an online shop and finish quality was awful. Had a mark down the length of the blank and also what looked like blobs of glue or epoxy on the rings. He sent it back and received a replacement which was apparently checked before dispatch and that was in a similar condition šŸ«¤

Good to hear the rods arrived safe and sound. When do you think you will you get it out for a session mate?

Oh dear, that's not like Century, their rods are normally excellently finished, and their quality control is second to none. (y)
