That's why I ended up going for them Ian, reading up on them they say they're very versatile Worst case if I can't bend them I'll take up harbour fishing, if they're that stiff I can't compress them they should be fine for winching doggies up a harbour wall

You wont go wrong with the Century's Steve, superb rods, and very nicely finished as well mate. Tight lines for when you get out with them..

Got out today for the first time since getting the new (to me) rods. Session was far from great due to bloody spider crabs turning up and tearing everything to shreds but did manage 1 doggie. Rods were fantastic! Cast well, bite indication was superb and the general feel of the rod with fish on was spot on Absolutely love them

Just returned from a 2hour LW session with 2 nice Bass and a dogfish returned

I used my Graphex Supermatches last night, forgot how nice and light they are....you made a good choice there

Yeah they're lovely rods, I'm really happy with them Actually even my father in law, who kept saying I don't need to spend that kind of money on rods had a feel of them and is thinking about getting a couple himself now lol

I had a feel of the Tronixpro Blackouts while I was trying to decide on which rods to get and they were excellent build quality and felt great to be fair Which Tronixpro rods do you use?

No mate, whether the venue is too shallow at LW I don’t know, fished Eastbourne last week and every other cast I was having hooks pinched off!

Thats what I had on Sunday mate. Must of lost 20 or more hooks and when they weren't snipping hooks they were robbing bait and damaging my snood line
