Though tbf it was more of a social to meet a mate and Tat on here did give me good advice, but I didn’t really have time to make up the proper rigs etc so it was probably all a bit half arsed by Chesil regulars’ standards.

chuck a fresh mak head n guts out 8 yards as the light goes.We are down at Ferry Bridge but only had one bite so far and missed itlol Not seen anyone catch yet

That’s where I went yesterday and sounds like a similar experience!We are down at Ferry Bridge but only had one bite so far and missed it
One big mackerel, one small bream and more twatfish than you could shake a stick at after dark.
I will do a report once the PTSD eases…

Yep a whole metre range yesterday - lazy as fook tides down there!Tide seems a bit weird to what I expected. It’s barely moved since we got here. Supposed to be high tide in an hour

Ferrybridge mate, up from A3 a bit as it was tent city there so we had to walk west a few hundred yards
I've had 1 Cuttlefish all day lol it was really busy when we got here so had to walk a long way up the beach to the west. Absolutely fooked us both
What's a twatfish? Please excuse my inexperience lol

twatfishermen is a species of bedouin angler that hunts makerel usually you can pick them out from the normal guys because of the run up casting technique and the 8lb shock leaders......
