It's happening.

No offence intended for the OP but camper vans aren’t the most popular visitors around here…
Or here .....

Teignmouth has an overnight ban at Polly Steps, and the point carparks, Brixham has banned them from Freshwater Cove, and parking a camper at Exmouth can prove to be very difficult. Also lots of places in the South Hams bans overnight parking.

I dont have an issue with pucker motorhomes, it is the modified commercial van tramps that have ruined it for all.

Well over thirty years since I've been down here and can't believe how it's changed. I'm on the edge of Dartmoor national park and spent five days walking the rivers and a couple of reservoirs. The rivers don't seem to hold any course fish which I half expected due to the otters but they appear to have destroyed the ground nesting bird population as well as I haven't seen any coots, morehens, ducks or swans. House building is everywhere like the rest of the south but many developments here look out of character with the area and look like they will be falling apart before the mortgage is payed. Admittedly I'm old and maybe look back with rose tinted glasses but I don't a great future for my grandkids in the UK and I'm glad both my daughter and son are now seriously looking to emigrate.

The fish may not be showing in the rivers but there are still a few there!

Bideford Bude area. Don't hear much about it with most news coming from further up the channel.

Erm, well the two are a fair way apart but depends what you want to do really?
It’s not really the coast for daytime beach fishing with most folks fishing after dark or on rock marks.

Spurdog around at the moment at certain marks and the usual huss, dogs and eels winter species.
Does seem to be a few bass around still but if you fished a surf beach for them you’d be better off after dark.

I can pm a few suggestions (bearing the van in mind) if you wanted?
