Agree I have a couple of those listed and useless for long range, the gearing is all wrong and the spool profile.
The big daiwa pit reels probably the best money no object long range reels imo.
 
What are you using it for? Beachcasting? Lure fishing? Boat?

BTW I wouldn't have another Van Staal, they feel like junk when compared with my Twin Powers and the line lay is shite even after shimming the spools; they're tractors designed for skishing freaks. They have known line roller issues too. Quite why some European bass anglers think they're necessary is beyond me.....a Slammer would be a better choice but even that's overkill really..... unless you fish with a snorkel give them a wide berth!
I've managed to blag a loan of a 20k Saltiga for this year's tuna campaign but even in that size I've doubts about line capacity, be OK for small to mid sized blues, but the xxxls??? 80wides brimmed with 130lb hollow core are not overkill and you can't guarantee to pick out the smaller fish, but it could be fun!

Agree the van stall my saltwater twin power is in a different league but it's old and rarely use it now as I love the Penn slammers.

New to the forum and the only sea fishing is rock fishing abroad. However, must give a shout to the old school Shimano Triton Sea Spin 3500 and 4500 series, which I still used to this day. The original bait runners, these reels were designed for bass fishing that removed the need for an open spool, with an elastic band wrapped round it. These reels revolutionised carp fishing, with the fraternity claiming the bait runner for itself.
Any Shimano fixed spool sea reel, dependent on use should be fine. Even if not required for fishing the bait runner makes life so much easier, particularly when tackling up.

And I thought the twin towers were demolished after the planes crashed into them in 9/11, then again I could be wrong.😢

I don't suppose any of the long cast fixed spools will vary greatly in distance and probably the top end of most brands will give you durability. On saying that if you don't clean and oil them they will break fairly quickly.
