Ultimate fixed spool reel

I don't think there is such a thing as "the ultimate fixed spool reel" or the ultimate rod, or the ultimate anything else.
Like a lot of things, fishing tackle is subjective, and all a matter of personal taste & experience.
I bought a Mitchell Blue water RZ 9000 when I couldn't get a Penn surfblaster during Covid - it's been a great reel, and I now have 2 surfblasters as well. All come from the Pure Fishing stable anyway.
That doesn't mean reels by Shimano, Daiwa, Okuma or any other manufacturer are crap - I'm just happy with what I've got, as a lot of us probably are.
In fact, I have 3 smaller cheap Shimano spinning reels for lure rods, and they have been good too.

With time I'm looking to go with the power aeros, aero techs would be too scared to drop them or mark them :ROFLMAO: for now I use daiwa emblem 5000Ts, the made in Japan version, which have been given some serious grief and still standing, and can be had for £30-40 second hand. Also have a shimano speedmaster and penn surfblaster 2 that are my light braid fixed spools when I'm not using my multis for max distance.
