Zulcron 435 lite

Few of us in 2008 had the black ttr made for some left over f1 car cloth. They were really ultra light, almost every one seemed to jump up in distances. But most the tips broke, normally on the 175. Was given the anti twist tip and not so good. Only sold it few months ago.

The blue raptor I have is a numb nuts but not a caster and it was a casters rod once upon a star but “nice” to fish with in rough stuff which I guess it was developed for later into a more user friendly ttr, speaking of which had a burgundy one which had a lovely fishing tip showing weaner bites, then came braid🤔

I've still got my original red ttr, lovely rod, great fishing tip on them. I'm sure the su was based on that rod.

Between your red ttr and su which did you prefer for fishing if you had to make a choice?

That's a difficult one! Both crackers. biggest regret i had was getting rid of my olive green su😩 probably say original olive su. I still think there both the best rods made. Will do everything, proven and capable of breaking casting records and have a lovely fishing tip.

Maybe you could find another that might perform the same or even get your old rod back?

Its long long gone mate. I'll probably just look out for decent newer model one, not a million miles different.

Rod should go on forever, especially with good techniques of the caster, not snaking the rod, not casting off the tip.
My TXL GT is a good few years old and was used by two good casters before I got my hands on it. Still feels as good as when bought it four years ago.
