Pulley rig

I dont understand this rig.. how do the two hooks clip down.. if you clip one the other is flying around ??

They clip into the hook release device which is on the lead. The red bit. It releases the hooks on impact with the water so it gives your rig/bait an aerodynamic journey

I know how the Gemini solo clip works and you can't clip two hooks set up like that in it.. you can only clip one hook.. so what happens to the other hook in that picture / rig... it just hangs about.. which defeats purpose of streamlined casting rig

They fit two hooks unless your using huge hooks
Really? Have never seen that done sounds like recipie for disaster to me..

I another type of release clip maybe.. but gemini solo sounds to fiddly / risky to me to try and clip two hooks in

You could use an Angel clip, which allows 2 hooks to be clipped down. Billy fishing on Youtube shows how to make them, or you can buy the Inova ones. I've made some with 1.6mm Stainless steel wire.

Those are cool.. not seen those before

They have their uses but yes I agree. I just use the leads with the built in one. Name escapes me atm
The problem with those is being part of the lead they cannot slide to mitigate line stretch,
Something like an impact shield you can give 20-40mm of slide to the release stop to allow stretch in the rig body without snapping the snood, you need that on pully rigs with light snoods.
