See quite a few for sale these days.Had the txl version (not gt) and the tip was actually quite forgiving, showing up bites really well. Steely in the mid and butt sections. Regret selling it now!
Or the 7 ounce Anubis plus, have heard the Anubis close to the century ss which I have but the Anubis plus possible contender. What are they like compared to the conoflex Anubis?
I know that a few Match anglers use the TXL GT, Joe Plumstead seems to use one regularly.I’ve got a TXL GT. It’s a beast, but the glass tip makes it a brilliant long range fishing rod.
or a mk1 Apollo??What are they like compared to the conoflex Anubis?
I've been waiting a while to get my hands on their GT blanks. If only to check what all the hype is about. Stan Parkes says they are quality blanks and he's a busy rod builder. I'd like to cast one myselfI know that a few Match anglers use the TXL GT, Joe Plumstead seems to use one regularly.

You don't really know what you want mate..still fancy a standard zeteque but not the olive blank.
That is about nail on head Ian, could even have a sale and start from scratch and purge myself which is probably way to go if can bring self to do it but have a couple of old friends, one rod is really all I need. You don't really know what you want mate..
