Fishing the old toll bridge with live bait is good for bass

Different river, that one enters the sea at Littlehampton. The Arun is at Shoreham, The Ouse at Newhaven via Lewes. Cuckmere at Cuckmere Haven east of Seaford.I prefer Arundel, in coming tide, small lure, light rod, but braid instead of line, just incase of the sharp stone work under bridges.

So just get bait and switch between the coast and the rivers as my mood swings change ?

That's a shame, I am in mid Sussex approx 35 miles from Eastbourne. I tend to fish either Seaford, Cuckmere, Shoreham through to Pagham. I have never fished Eastbourne area although suppose to be good for flatties, bass, doggies etc at Langley point.@Beach where in Sussex are you?
My family live in Eastbourne, I'll be popping up there at some stage to visit them. I'll be taking rods, naturally, and probably heading down to Cambridge Road to target flatties while I'm there. That anywhere near you?
You should try turning the steering wheel to the LEFT!!!!That's a shame, I am in mid Sussex approx 35 miles from Eastbourne. I tend to fish either Seaford, Cuckmere, Shoreham through to Pagham. I brought my last new car in Eastbourne via car wow website and saved about £2,950 off rrp. Also a few years ago went to see the drifters live at a theatre think it was the Royal Hippodrome. You should try turning the steering wheel to the LEFT!!!!
This way you will be able to get to Eastbourne!!!!!
Always nice to see a different part of the coastline, & meet up with NEW friends, perhaps???

When this lockdown has finished we can arrange drowning some bait, will be good to have a meet up as long as the misses has recovered from her heart op sufficiently.
