12ft two piece
Equal sections
Fiberglass
Spigot join, male butt, female tip

The only model I can find listed that took a FPS30 reel seat was the 160/8 Cod 6 13', the 12' Cod 6 was 26mm or the 12' Cod 5 28mm .
The symbol after the X looks like the bottom of either a 6 or 8 but neither Surf 8 or Surf 6 had a 30mm butt either so I'm stuck

Very encouraging to hear people aren't all tackle tarts, guess I'm lucky that while in the RAF I had the cash to buy some quality tackle that I never sold, same with boats my favourite rod is a 'blue' Penn Tidecutter 12-20, or conoflex Patriot 50 IGFA for big stuff, with a conoflex Vampire 2 uptide (built by Alba rods), but I've also got a lot of Normark Blue fox kit probably deemed a bit thick & clumsy by some of the ultra thin stuff I saw in a shop recently, Reels Charter specials, TLD20, 7000's, & 535's oh & a 6001 lefty that I love on a 6lb Ron Thompson 1 piece. but again all of it's 15+ years old
I have followed a similar path in the RAF money to spend. zf250 taught me to pendy. I won a mk1 greys Apollo in a SA comp, caught my first east coast cod with that up towards Aberdeen, bought a couple of more zzipies then went civvy contracting for 2 decades
Good news was I took care of all my rods and reels before putting them away for that time
New rods? a century profile evo and a diawa tourney bass rod oh and a cheap 3lb diawa carp rod for messing about with, can put a half string of feathers a fair distance and it's great fun ISN'T THAT WHAT ITS ABOUT?...
