If you look closely at the 3rd picture you’ll see the bait. But prawns work and you don’t get so much interest from the halibut. Coalie strips sandeel, herring bluey would work too.

Yes, that’s right. Better than Havoysund and Hasvik as those both have about 1.5-1.75 hours steam to the halibut honey pot areas and only about 25 mins for us.

Are you back to Hasvik this year or elsewhere in Norway?

Not this year mate. We did north west Soroya last year but still a long trek to where you were.
Although I suspect our halibut spots aren’t too far apart….
