Advice New AA and AAA rechargeable batteries

I only buy one Brand now - GP.

I have tried different brands before, as I use them a lot for my Digi camera & torches. Always come back to GP. In fact, the ones I've got have been so good, I haven't bought any for about 5 years! Did try the Lidl ones but I found they don't hold their charge and after about 6 months, refuse to accept a charge at all.

If you can't find the GP ones locally, lots of options on eBay.

This company have a good range of batteries with less expensive and most expensive options.

A point to remember, the higher the mAh (milliamp hours) the longer the light will stay lit

Lithium batteries are a different chemistry and have different voltages to alkaline or NiMh batteries unless there is a built-in regulator.

Eneloops are very good NiMh batteries as they have a low discharge rate and stay charged.
Ikea Ladda batteries are the same as Eneloops and reasonably priced. Make sure to get the highest mAh rating as ikea di a standard and high capacity versions.
