Multiplier for estuary/light beach

Pretty sure you can upgrade your 6000c retrieve - Blakdog on here will know. On bearings, I had a jammed bearing on the old 6000c I bought on ebay recently (probably one of the original bearings). I eventually got it moving with force + WD40 and 3-in-1, and it screamed on the first couple of casts, but works fine now. In fact it out-casts (same rod, and line) my other, later 6000c which has good bearings.

I have put new bearings in mine, got them from blakdog. Regardless of the ventilated/perforated sideplates, the gears are original, astonished they have survived intact, and even the push-button release still works. However the reel is semi-retired on light duties now as I mostly use f/s reels with braid, or my Fathom ll 12sd. I have read there have been some gear issues with these but mine has been trouble free thus far
