Review Maged saltiest

Got a pair of magged saltists and they are just the mutts to fish with use them up the channel all the time on my t900’s or match pros. In my mind worth every penny. Use my casting specials as a back up now and my fathoms for abbo eastwards but rough weather big seas the saltists come out. Can see myself getting another pair covering all bases line wise.

Pair of Daiwa 18 Saltist 30H's ordered Mike, will see what they cast like on the centrifugal breaks before looking at mono mag kits from Russ (Blakdog).. (y)

Think his mono mag requires removal of the centrifugal brake and the ratchet.

Nice , do you use the same strength magnet in both 20 and 30 models ?
Same kit does both the 20 and 30.. (y)

21 rods counting the 3rd Daiwa ( Incoming ) only 20 reels including the Saltists. You need to do the Maths.;):ROFLMAO:
Your going to have to stop looking mate...🤣

Ian.

They run fast mate. Mine are almost unusable as the brakes are unpredictable. Need mine magg’d asap
Are you using the White or Red blocks mate..?

When you cut your teeth on a Mitchel 600 like i did, you educated your thumb, no such thing as mags or break blocks. (y)

The white ones (bigger of the 2). Honestly the reels are lively.
Take them down the field when you get them 🤣

Yes, you can just adjust the full on position to suit you on the smaller spool when fitting if you need to ... or better to just set it as standard and then just wind it back a little further when needed - better to have them a little over-braked that you can back off rather than need braking that is not there.

Mags made all the difference on my 20’s and so nice to fish with I have to force myself to use my other reels at times. Tried mine with the blocks at first but really lively and found it one less thing to keep in mind. Must admit Chris Macey done mine but him and black dog only ones I would use.
