South Coast Hampshire marks for December?

Around Itchen bridge over low for flounders during daylight, probably one of the few half-consistent flounder marks left these days along that stretch imo, hythe reclaimed another but for low tide Itchen might be best option. Bills tackle in Woolston friendly chap always happy to help if you pop in for some worm. Tight lines,

If its
If its any good to you, I fished Eastney last night. It was a whiting and dog fest. Baits uses were, black lug, razors, squid and mackerel, on there own and in cocktails and the whiting mainly devoured it all. Went through 30 blacks, 10 razors, pack of squid and a whole mackerel. I'm guessing that's pretty much going to be the same at most venues. Oh and virtually no weed. Think I had 2 casts which came back with weed on and that was at the start of the ebb.
Yes it is good to me thank you, and that’s brilliant news about the weed.

Very good session I would day, decided on gilkicker as I know the bottom there quite well. Arrived at 4:30 fished till 9. Zero issues holding bottom and not a rumour of any weed. Had six whiting two of which were 30cm+ , one pout and four dogs. Still no ray but Kept me busy the whole session.IMG_9803.jpeg

This is my favourite time of year for rays.
Head down to Lepe deep water and smash out a small fish bait as far as possible at low tide and you stand a very good chance

Thank you for the advice, night time I take it? Is lepe better than hurst shingle?

If you can't cast over 120 yards then I'd head for Hurst mate. Lepe is one of the best thornie marks in my opinion but you do need a good chuck. You don't need complete darkness but certainly not day light. A low water just after sunset can be good

Haha I don’t think I ever sent lead and bait out 100 yards😂
