Chesil now

Hopefully be at west bexington for Saturday, any tips??.bait.or position?.
Some big weather coming in mate, wave height predicted at 1.8M.
1.8M is a problem on Chesil unless you are used to it.
Personally I do not think it will reach that height but conditions will still be harsh.
If you can get a bait 80 yards into a headwind then it will be fishable.

If you cannot then it will be a miserable session for you.

You will need lug worm and squid.

Position from West Bexi car park.......... in those conditions it does not matter the fish will be running the entire beach BUT my advice would be to fish Abbotsbury the steepness of the beach will give you a better line angle in a big sea.

BUT heres the truth of it.

If you are not a competent angler who can get a bait 80 yards into a headwind then you will end up getting your line embedded in the shingle over and over until you run out of leads......... so go and have a go but if you are getting buried every chuck go home or wait the weather out.
