I unsubscribed after the last one and I haven't watched any of his videos since then.

I was subscribed to his channel for a couple of years but not any more.
He puts over this goody goody wholesome family man impression, and then it came out (on WSF I think) that his Mrs had got an only fans page. He's got more faces than a Dice.

Its all a bit interesting isnt it. Sad really as this chap made life awkward for me for time. Hes the reason i haven’t done any following of what ive been up to apart from the occasional little clip on facebook. I do have quite a smug feeling after winning the biggest fish in the first uk bluefin competition on his doorstep!

Either that or leave them alone. Despite all the spin, I’d bet quite a few of those hooked die.
Same with shark fishing for that matter. You see trophy pictures of sharks pissing blood and it’s reported how they ‘swam away strongly’
They probably did, only to die a few hours later ?

Agree. I stopped fishing for salmon for the same reason - all the more so now we can't kill a salmon on the Wye. I can't see any justification in catching a Wye salmon - the absolute minimum injury is going to be a hole and/or wear around the hole where the hook penetrated. Worst case scenario is a dead fish.
