Myself and a mate went rag digging on Wednesday to get the bait for this weekends fishing. With the weather looking ok we decided to use up the splits and bits & bobs the following day, fishing 3 hours up to high tide.

My first choice of mark wasn't great with just a few small hounds in the 1st hour. What was good though is there were no dogfish! However there were also no bass feeding so a quick move half a mile or so back towards the mooring was in order.

What a great move that was too for in the next 2 hours we landed 2 roker, several more hounds to double figures and 6 sizable bass between 2lb and 4lb. A single dogfish did make an appearance but not to me so I had a dog free session. Happy days!IMG_3334.JPG

We kept 4 of the 3-4lbers for the table.

Well done B&C! Nice report and some tasty Bass for the table. ????
