I noted recently that TFGear don't sell sea fishing gear anymore, only carp stuff.

Have you purchased any of their sea fishing items? I didn't think soprobably realised it was s***e and stopped making it ???
Not that I know of, think he has something to do with the promotions of carp stuff. Is TFGear anything to do with Matt Hayes?
My TFG Multies (2mags and 2 level winds) black side plates appear to be the same as Akios, never had a problem with them. Also my 2-5oz 11ft bass rods are great as far as I am concerned.I think the reels were Akios with different coloured plates on
More profit in carp/fresh water stuffprobably realised it was s***e and stopped making it ???
Also catches fish, the same as mega bucks equipment you need a mortgage to buy.it's cheap for a reason
In retirement for 8 years I don't need to.put some overtime in ?
Just save your pennies and have private pensions ready for retirement, worked for meI'm still looking forward to the easy life
Nice to hear Mike, especially as someone who actually uses them.I got a pair of there estuary rods iv had em 5 years now must admit there nice rods take off the label and you'd think they come from a higher stable, yes there that good, excellent for flounder and bass very very similar to conoflex bass rod
Dunno all I know is they all work just good, always rinse and dry my gear then oil reels etc. I have reels that are over 40 years old and work like new.Like most brands they have a few cherries in their range. And a lot of prunes. I think the reels were Omoto just like Akios's Abu clones
Never had prunes with the fish I caughtLike most brands they have a few cherries in their range. And a lot of prunes. I think the reels were Omoto just like Akios's Abu clones
