Just a short session this morning minus 4 when I got to the bay, I had 5 small whiting and with a small tide and it rapidly receding I called it a day an hour after high water. I just don't seem to be able to get past small whiting at the moment.?

Aye it was bitter eh, no sign of the little pests leaving yet the bait was hitting the water and the rod was knocking straight away ?

Keeps the interest going a bit, better than still tips but a wee bit of variety would help.

It will improve if last year is anything to go by plus I have some idea of what I'm doing now which should help ?
