Is there a particular time of year to catch these in Scotland..?
 
Not sure Flappy. There may be some times that are better than others in local areas but I've seen flounder+Dabs pretty much all year round.

If we hadn't had so much freshwater coming down the River Nith I would have had a wee shot down the eastuary at Glencaple by now. This time of year they are quite fat.
