Zeteques seem rather rare. I’ve got a TXL GT and it’s an amazing rod. Powerful, sends a lead a long way, but still user friendly.

Bet it’s a lovely rod, did you ever give it a go with fs and braid ?

Thought that from your earlier posts but thought temptation and the caster in you may have got the better, anyhow would you guess at been too stiff to be unpleasant or borderline as got put off the idea for the rocks reading some posts by I think chukker who used to give his thoughts on wsf. Might add have an open mind and would be very interested in your thoughts.

Continental rods are designed to take the snatch out of fixed spool casting, well the proper ones are. I dread to think what the snatch would be like on the Zeteque. Something I do like, is using a multiplier on a continental rod, it’s so smooth and good for soft baits like maddies.
