Your favourite estuary rod?

Don’t own one but have a few bass rods. They do the job but I always use a Shakespeare agility expedition. I just seemed to always have it as it’s so easy to transport around as it’s a 5 or maybe 6 piece rod. Used it that much and have came to love it. A versatile tool and think it was about 60 quid

Another vote for the Flattie fanatic, though I've recently bought a Tip Tornado Super Match ld and its getting a lot of use. if the estuary hasn't got the big flows then the Shakespear Salt flattie is a peach for light work even a flounder will put a bend into it.

I’ve got two, very good flattie rods for the money, as was. Very difficult to find any these days.

I've have two myself but they are not getting the use they deserve, I'm just not doing much in estuaries.
I only really use them for autumn flounder fishing and not in barrelling flow, although last couple of years one has been pressed into service for light feathering ie two feathers and a 3oz weight.
They make pretty good float rods too

They arn't to shabby, holding in the surf for bass or golden grey mullet, nice and light with a responsive tip with a bit of low end grunt, sorry I'm starting to sound like a salt flattie advert 😆
