Yes you guessed it. Drove nearly 9 hours to have a night mare. Didn’t even see a bite. So I blanked but in my defence spoke with a few local blokes and they all did say it was hard fishing cos of the winds. And summer fishes better. Cos I only use light gear couldn’t hold bottom at certain times of the tide in certain areas so I spent a lot of time waiting for the tide to come right up. And by that time I had had enough but onwards and upwards nice to get away from the wife’s snoring for a couple of nights.
