WASHED UP TACKLE

My best find came about when i was crabbing one day. i was wading up to my knees checking my traps ( tyres ) when i saw a rodbut. when i lifted it from the water it was a century eliminqator with a penn fathom. both in great condition? the line was out but the reel was full of sand so i hand lined the line in yes everything was intact on the hooks was a lobster. and entangled in the line was a dead cormorant " hence the loss of the gear."
i enquired for anyone loosing tackle but i got no responce the moral DONT LEAVE YOUR GEAR UNATTENDED
It was a nice little earner in the end
