Testing and learning.

So finished the night shift this morning and it was a cracking morning, thought I could be normal and just go to bed or get out and get some practice, who wants to be normal, saying that, I'm absolutely knackered now
Over the weekend a pal of mine, he is part of the akios radical team, gave me a loan of 4 akios rods to try out, the airtorque, airspeed, airpower and the endurance pro. All amazing rods and excellent build quality, all very different though, the way the tips are used on each and to see the difference when casting out or reeling in.
Plan was to go, try catch a fish, relax and practice. I didn't get any fish but what I did get was knowledge and bucket loads of it, the guy who gave me a loan of the rods came down for a few hours and showed me different things, bait presentation, casting, match fishing tips etc. It actually turned out a better morning than I ever could have expected and learning to cast a different way, still need practice though, but I've added more distance and casting to where I point the rod. Still loads to work on but delighted with how this morning went,

Akios owners seem to be happy with the rods, never heard any owner slate them and read some good reviews on the higher end models. Never tried them myself but love the nitron F15 XP's .

Yeah honestly a great rod, I won an akios fury twin tip and not only does it look a great rod, the finish is amazing. For the prices there rods are amazing

I have a pair of AirPower surfs, they are great for big weights and or big baits. Bite detection is awesome. Only use them when a light rod would struggle though.
I had a bumpy ride getting to that pair though by snapping a couple, they seemed to struggle at the tip to blank bonding. But couldn’t fault Akios customer service as all were replaced

Customer support is 100% couldn't disagree there, there other products too are really good, for the price compared to other big names, you can't go wrong
