Took the spinning gear down to Terally Bay tonight. It was a bit mucky and weedy but I was there so gave it a bash anyway. Three small pollock and this wee beastie.

Only about a pound but more significantly my second solway bass. Took a white seeker like the first one last year.
 
Nice session.When I first scrolled down and saw the large pebbles at the top of the pics they reminded me of well stuffed Haggis.?

Not a bad representation of the chieftain.

Good effort!
First time I have fished the bay in a while and the last time was with bait. It was barely 10 minutes from the caravan and I knew it was a relatively safe venue for a foray into darkness despite it probably not being the best venue I had available.
