Or very light long snoods would you believe. It’s usually lack of tide which causes the issues.Shorter snoods or thicker mono?
Must admit I rarely use anything other than a pulley rig clipped down unless I’m fishing the N Norfolk shingle, which sadly I havnt done sine pre Covid.Or very light long snoods would you believe. It’s usually lack of tide which causes the issues.

I just find them so simple to use with winter cold hands and bad eye sight.I'm the same I usually use only pulley rigs.
It’s not what it was now. I find it drags on itself when tying knots and quite rough texture wise. I’m seriously thinking about going back to maxima for my snoods. I’m still playing with fluorocarbon and that can be interesting to tie as well.Amnesia is my go to trace line - I’ve unravelled some right messy eel tangles and with a bit of pulling through the fingers it’s perfectly usable again.
I still don’t find it too bad, although I agree they changed it at some point and it’s not as slick as it was. It’s not what it was now. Yep, I'm the same just pully's of different lengths, but just seen a vid of a "Portsmouth loop pully" which looks like a good Chesil rig.Must admit I rarely use anything other than a pulley rig clipped down unless I’m fishing the N Norfolk shingle, which sadly I havnt done sine pre Covid.
The hook lengths and cascade swivel take loading of the cast with that rig.Yep, I'm the same just pully's of different lengths, but just seen a vid of a "Portsmouth loop pully" which looks like a good Chesil rig.
