We recently moved house, and for the last 30 years SWMBO just accepted that there were a few rods around the house .
Now she knows .
I complained about her having 3 cameras, now I just keep quiet for a quiet life. There are a few travel rods, with reels and end gear in the back of the van as well, in case I see a fishing opportunity when out and about .
You never know.

Chat with mate here and he got old mate who is into old rods and reels. No , its a lifelong interest. I dont go to pubs, dont go to football, dont smoke, etc etc.
I should add that I have a regular table at a couple of vintage tackle fairs, so some of what you see there are sale items.
Its just lucky that nobody asked about reels or tackle bags/boxes/ baskets , fishing clothing ,waders, boots, brollies, angling books and other paraphenalia.
What you see above is actually a small part of my collection.

Only need a staple gun - sortedSome rod bags used to have a loop so could be hung from but guess depends on many things and value/ type of rod.
