It’s been a while 
since June and up until this week I’d only managed to fish on 4 occasions. 3 blanks with the lures and an unsuccessful session on bait with my lad. This week though I managed somehow with everything else on my list of things to do to squeeze in not one, but two outings chucking plastic.
Monday night I hook into Bass no1 after a friend asked if I wanted a cast on his new rod
not big by all means but it’s been soooooo very long since I’d caught anything. 
Safe to say I was only allowed the one cast and unfortunately he also ended up blanking on the night. Bass no2 came on my own rod about an hour after the first.

He’s been trying his very best to persuade me to purchase one but I’m a Major Craft fan and prefer much longer rods than he does.
Thursday night was off the cuff, quick call off another mate at 7:30pm ish saw me out the house and on the road by 7:45pm
It was BIG tides, bright moon and a Bass each on the night with mine taking a recent addition to the box in the form of a Mad Shad 100 in Cabot
