Excellent catch again. Have you ever thought of going for their bigger cousins, the tope?
Often… the problem is timing the right conditions and tides etc with the travel. Tope are certainly on the “to do” list though for sure!!

I'm surprised you don't get them off the shore your side of the river. On the north side we're catching them in under 5 foot of water albeit from a boat. Shallow gullies with sand/shell and half a flatfish for bait. Dab head works well too so you get 3 baits from one fish.
