All sorted, unfortunately the ring netters have just come prospecting in the Bay,Cornwall seafishing life,posh talking blamey boy on the old wooden tub.

Thank you mate, it was very busy, I have never known such a night with so many dogfish, shame though , think there could have been more Ray's to come out give the chance

Thank you bru, yeah love a bit of skate, although that was back home when it was brought into the country, but also didn't think of where it came from.

but since fishing here, I found myself not wanting to eat it as it's such a beautiful animal lol
 
Good session. Well done. We mostly get small eyed rays round here. Had a few to double figures and, yes they are one of my favourite eating fish although I don't like skinning them. Excellent report as well.

They are lovely tasting but can't now that I see them alive and how amazing they are

Its easy , open your mouth and close your eyes , pan fry fast in butter to colour , and then bake in oven covered in browned butter and capers . Yum yum . Best thing is you serve with just the wing .... no little eyes looking back .
