Not many reviews of these out there at the moment, anyone on here using them can you give an honest opinion on casting and fishing with them, especially interested if anyone has used both these and the century T900 for a comparison cheers.

Mike Hemming has a pair of the Century built M4 GT's, sure he will give a good view on them. I think he likes them. (y)

Ian.

Was going to say wingnut will be along shortly but surprisingly he doesn't have these two models.;)(y)
Prefer the M4 Hi-Flex M to the GT's..(y)

Fifty two weeks in a year so a weeks money for a pair of rods not bad really, especially when a fly rod costs that for one. On the other hand keep saving your hard earned so you can leave it all to the inland revenue.:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Simples: put it in trust for the children, unless you are sterile.

M4gts been out years. Loads of reviews if you search google.
Some with comparisions to the T900.
Mentioning weight, which is more powerfull..etc, etc,etc

Nothing has changed other than were they are made and by who.
And dont forget No 2 were ever the same anyway

This is why I'd like views on the new one's compared to old from someone who has them as many will say original are best if that's what they own.

Here's three questions that will define your choice.
Would you prefer a lighter or heavier blank?.
Do you use 200g leads?
Do you intend to fish for tope or skate?

Not too fussed about weight.
Yes but my T900's will do that.
Yes both hopefully going to Scotland later in the year. Wonder if the M4GT'S would be easier on my ageing body being a foot shorter and I assume lighter.

M4 GT rated at 6, T900 rated at 8, stick to the T900's for Scotland.. (y)

The GTs weigh a lot less that a T9, I do not think that there is much crossover between the two rods.
They are very different.
