I'm looking at the new super match ,my question is , would it sit power wise between the t800 and j-curve ,and is it a genuine 6oz casting rod

I own a pair of graphex sports my mate has the super matches 6oz is optimum for both

Haven't put 6 oz on mine yet I'll try it Saturday and give you a shout can't se it being a problem though its like a t850 lol

For me its never been about what you can do by taking a rod to the limit, its always been about what a particular rod does best.
The TTSMG is in my opinion the best 5 oz rod out there and has the significant advantage that it works as well with either FS and Multiplier.
Its not the longest casting, in fact I dont think its the best at any single thing. BUT its the best all round 5oz on the market.
If you are going with 7oz leads personally I would take a heavier rod.
The sport loves a big lead, but then the T1000 will come into its own. I just stick to 6oz max now, I just cant get the big leads away like I used too.
