I did hear there was an outbreak on Guernsey and they were talking about lockdown over there, will that affect you at all?

We're locked down as a precaution at the moment. It's interesting as a week or so ago news networks were running stories on Guernsey being the only Covid free place and a day or two later 30 cases were announced that don't appear to be connected to air travel or ferries. Providing there is nobody on Sark with it, I'd expect things to return to normal in 8 or 9 days but, we'll see. We're allowed out for two hours at the moment, which is plenty in these 40-50mph winds. Food is being delivered to our doors, he island just seems empty, which is nice.

Hopefully it’ll ease soon then. Weird where the cases came from then, must have been brought in somehow? Someone lying about isolating maybe? Although I know it’s enforced more there isn’t it?

Yes, I think its a £3k fine for stepping out of your front gate during isolation, that was on the form I got when entering from the UK. Its very strict. TBH it could have come from a boater who has returned privately. I don't have too much faith in the accuracy of tests, so who knows. Touch wood, I am expecting there to be no cases here.
