South Coast Monster Squid PB for me on a quiet night ...

It depends where you are fishing, the squid take them as they are falling. I am fishing somewhere with a strong tide, so they float with it, not much rod work is needed.
Is it simply a matter of casting out and then jigging the squid lure it back in? Or is there some trick to it?
