South Coast Hounds are in

Morning peeps
Had a few hrs on mid chesil after hounds last night, quite a strong east wind turning
N/east as the daylight faded
Fished squid on both rods one out , one a bit closer praying the spiders wouldn’t be too bad . All good on that front , after 20 mins the far rod pulls over and reel zzzzzz
Good hound on going great until it picked my other line up and then rolled it’s self around the trace …ffs !!!
Nightmare beaching it and untangling the mess, all good in the end and put back a 8lb hound to swim away strongly. !!
Carried on and had a smaller one around 4 lb no drama this time along with straps and dogs called it a night around 10 pm
Nice to start the hound season

The spiders are in , went to west Bexy last week and blanked !! Spiders were on it in minute’s
I think it’s luck if you find a area clear of them , but when the hounds come past they do seem to hide ha !!!
