South Coast He who dares!

Great report, well done on getting your target species ?

Stellar report. You guys certainly put the time in and get your just rewards.(y)
Thanks, appreciate it. A lot of it is time no doubt, but also using different tactics and changing tactics helps. My thoughts are. If it ain't happening do something different, change bait or range, nothing to lose.

Well done mate. Really wish that we got Brill up here as they are unquestionably my favourite flatties to eat. Absolutely delicious.
Cheers. They had a big one on that James Martin programme on Saturday morning. He was saying how good they are. The one he had was nice and thick.

Smoothhounds in February?! That’s a new one on me!!…. Where are you? Australia?!! ?

Nice report and some great fish there too ??
Little ones, The Smoothhounds congregate in the Solent area to give birth, I think the little ones hang around until they grow bigger and move out.

Gloaty-swank !

Did he say that he's now beating me on species ?

He did to me, just a few times.

Fortune favours the brave
I did say it to you several times. I do try to be more respectful on this page though.
With regard to Mrs Goateee we had a good meal out the next day and did a few things without the Valentine's hoards around, so it was win, win - for me mostly l must admit!

Brilliant result there mate, thats two crackers for the hunt, very well done. sounds a very good pier to fish.
Ta much. Good result. The pier as we may have mentioned has been a bit sterile while the beach was fishing well. Why, no one knows. The members had 50 plus species from there the other year. It leans away from the normal breakwater type minis and is over clean sand so that helps l suppose. Maybe get you on there later on.

Love reading your reports Goatee, great session had
Again that means a lot to me Darren. I do enjoy putting them together. Got to keep it positive and fun and hopefully inspiring, as the reports are on here for me. I know that others aren't able to get out as much as l do, so good to help with a "fishing fix" for them. Cheers mate.

Cheers. It's the same for the boys West that are getting Mackerel over the winter and other species l can't get. Mind you l have had a weever in Jan and just had 2 decent sole in Jan as well. Just proves the seasons are getting blurred! Thanks again.
