That section of coast is currently unavailable, I’m often heading Pett level - Rye way. When they’re finished, I may have to pop down to bultherhythe… all that free pre-baiting! Lol!

The sewage repairs are nearly complete, Bultherhythe area (by Stamco for the locals) is still closed. Swimming on St Leonard’s and Pelham beaches is still ruled out due to the possibility of reduced water quality caused by the sewage spill. They are working like Trojan’s to get it fixed. It’s not a bad shore mark along there. Had a few bass from the outlet pipe in the past.

No BLUE standard for this year then?
If you catch decent sized fish, don't take them home for eating!!!!!

The first step is to actually catch a decent sized fish!! ?? I’m working on learning a stretch of coast along the coast towards Rye, it’s got lots of secrets to uncover yet.

The repairs are now complete. ??? swimming is still ruled out, but hats off to the workmen, they haven’t stopped until it was all sorted.

Perhaps you could try using fresher bait?
It's FREE, available from your own toilet, use only the stiffer stuff, as loose stools don't hold well on your hook when casting out!!!
The fish ?? in the area have obviously become used to seeing 'floters'

This could be a wise move, take the morning ablutions, wrap it in fox armour mesh and fish it like cart bait?
