Fished browndown beach last night hoping for a Ray 3/0 2/0 hooks, up/over rig, pulley pennel rig.

Sand eel and squid for bait.

I’ve not fished browndown before got there at low tide and had a mooch around picked a spot not far inside the browndown military training area (red flag was down so no training going on)

Picked a little peninsula looking spot with some gully’s and predominantly sandy (hard to get a good pic at night)

The tide seemed to take an absolute age to come in and I didn’t really have to move back far from the waters edge from low to high tide very calm condition and clear water.

Pretty quiet night here with just a couple of whiting and lost a hook on a snag. Still nice to get out!

Hoping to fish the ebb today at eastney.
