South Coast Good for the Sole. Last 3 sessions

Lovely fishing beard ?‍♂️ ???
Ha, ha. Thought l told you before. It's a place not a face!!! First place l fished when l started fishing proper 3 or 4 years ago. Caught a flounder. Thought this fishing lark was easy, then started blanking. Hence Goateeblank. Think l will put up something to find out about others names on here. Cheers mate. Screenshot_20220124-203243.png

Brilliant sessions there Keith, cracking pair a soles to finish up on too(y)(y)
Thanks Bob. Happy with any target fish, but particularly pleased with the two sole. The first one was great, the second when it was cold and dark and all the sensible people had gone home was elating.

Nice mate!! I went to southbourne for the first time a few weeks ago and all I caught was crabs and whiting ?

You’ll have to send me a message with your sole catching secrets!!
@Trev Fox had a 100 % whiting hook up rate. Same for me. No crabs though. Sole catching secrets. Hmmm, sometimes it just goes right mate! I don't generally follow the "rules" of the this is how and when you catch this and that. For sole I have fished baits nailed to the bottom as is the accepted practice and fished another rod with pop ups on. I had a double figure session and it was 50/50 ish. Also in the dark and no moon is supposed to be best. One of my better soles was on that stretch in clear blue skies and bright sunshine fishing with @DJDBazzer .
