So I'm thinking about buying a couple of blanks to build my own beach rods.
I'm tempted by the harrison p2 blanks as I love harrison carp and specialist blanks.
The rods I currently own and plan to sell have glass tips.
I was just wondering if there were any downsides to carbon tips and braided mainline?
The other blanks I have my eye on are the m4gt but they are very expensive blanks and if the spigots are anything like my century I don't want the hassle.
