Surprised your mate kept at the hounds - I’d swap three skanky grey dogfish for a decent plaice any day, lol!

Yeah but he loves the fight he had 7 to 9 lb the other day on same Mark so wanted same again like he said there’s still lots of time to bag up on flats and think we’ve sussed them good and proper now bey ?

Meh, not hard to skull drag them in with a 14 foot beachcaster, unless he uses lighter gear?
I’d much prefer edible things lol.

I’m not overly fussed on hounds. I’ll have one maybe two sessions to get my chain yanked then I’ll forget about them again

Yep, just my preference on it, would much prefer the plaice!
Grey dogfish are two a penny up here at certain times, but plaice is a common thing down your way isn’t it?

Tbh I haven’t had a double for a few years but then I don’t target them that much - it’s certainly a very achievable target here if you put a few sessions in.

Yeah probably easier up there to get a double more luck down here one we were talking about on sat was that we recon a 3 lb place is doable from here another month or two and 2 lb is common we usually get sidetracked by chisel picking up in later months but the capture of that sole and the thought of a big spot made us think we newd to put some effort in this mark in the latter months ?

Research says it came from Decathlon methinks. If it wasn't Telescopic, I might have given Jeepy an outing.

I only spotted it as keeping an eye out for another conti rod to fill the space on my tripod, and was hoping to get another Vertix rod - paid a bit over £50 for mine new. There's a matching rod on fleabay but it's collection only from Bournemouth, and they want £125 for it! ??

I give you one of my spares when I come that way next T you don’t fish enough to go spending that much on gear I’ve got perfectly Adequate conti rods that I won’t use again happy to pass them on to you free of charge mate
