Just a quick round up of the last few sessions.
Saturday: boils: freezing cold: 3 hook rigs with lug: blanked
Monday: point: pleasant: 6/0 pennell huge lug and cuttlefish baits: whiting and dogs.
Tuesday: point: cold: 3 hook rigs with lug: whiting and dogs.
Tonight: power station concrete rd: pleasant: 3 hook rigs with lug: whiting.
 
Unlucky SC. 10/10 for giving it a proper go though. No reports of any numbers from anywhere at the moment so maybe even worse this year. They're certainly not hiding round the corner in the Thames that's for sure.
 
Well done for trying. Just don’t think there’s realistically a chance of catching one there tbh. Nor rest of Kent and Sussex. Odds are very much against it. But still good to get out and drown some worms every now and then.

I was hoping there may be a few of those big sprat dabs about as was looking to go the end of next week, may still be a bit early.
A recent report on FB said loads of ting and 2 dabs for 2 anglers. I’d leave it till later in the hope the ting might thin out a bit in Jan/Feb. Whether there will be any decent dabs, who knows but may be in with a shout.
