South Coast Catching rays at Chesil

So how is Quacks giving your details to a third party?
Yea, I wondered about that, but on this occasion, I thnk their get-out is they have got her in working at the surgery to save their own staff doing it.
It's not the first time either. Had a problem with the skin on me fingers a few months back. Did one of them online consultations & sent in high quality photos - next thing i know I'm getting text messages on me phone from some crowd called "Push Doctor" asking me to install their app on me phone, so they can give me a video consultation. Surgery seem to be using any trick they can to pass the Buck & avoid doing any work. Definitely not right.

Great report Mr Fish, enjoyed reading that, was hoping there was going to be a nice ray at the end of it, unlucky on them mate, but well done on the Mackerel, Pics are great too. (y) (y) (y)

Good effort but July is one of the worse months for rays on chesil. Unless it's only an undulate you are after? Any stir up during May would see small eyes and thornbacks. You get odd ones after June but the size and numbers really tail off until around Sept Oct time. I've had rays from chesil every month of the year bar July Aug Sept. Thinking about it I've had undulates in the summer, they tend to be about when the mackerel shoals arrive July time, but the small eye and thornie numbers definitely reduce....

Cheers Squidword. Yep, only undulates really. SE I can get at home or thornbacks up channel.
Had my PB undulate of 11lb 8 on chesil using fresh mackerel a couple of years ago almost to the day.

It’s the only ray I can’t get local to me although I know it’s a bit of a south coast staple…

Any red mullet knocking about up there yet???
