Advice Bib & Brace - Century v VASS

I don't even have a box! 🫣

Depending on the distance I have to walk - my kit goes inside a heavy duty shopping bag OR my hiking backpack.

Question: are boxes worth it? I guess they must be or else they wouldn't sell.

I use the seatbox around 90% of the time. Keeps everything clean and dry inside and is easy to carry with a backrest conversion and can strap the coolbox to the top.

Iv seen anglers using the wham boxes from home bargains so it doesn't have to be expensive

Absolutely nothing wrong with cheap stuff.
Some of it is excellent.

A good box is definitely worth it as it can fit all my reels and bits in without them getting damaged, keeps them dry, provides a seat, side tray for scissors/elastic etc and also has a tape measure glued to the lid.

Tape measure? For checking the length of….? 😳

Just bought a lt wt bib & brace off the bay, Fort air-flex, waterproof & wind proof, very impressed for the price, £21.
but not overly generous size wise, go a size bigger than you think.
Still got a med wt AFAW pair, & heavy wt Leeda pair, come to that got my flotation suit pair as well almost forgot them.
I don't like them too heavy or you start sweating walking to your mark, then get cold when you sit down
