Staying up north for a few days catching up with the family, and spotted a little break in the weather/activity window last night. Not much to report but thought I might as well share ?

Fished from 19:00 to 21:00 hoping for couple of Mackies for my tea, but no luck. Plagued with little pollock. Even on the biggest lures I had couldn't get past them. Best fish was about a pound. Stopped counting at double figures, but probably somewhere around two dozen.

Lovely way to spend the evening but nothing spectacular to report. Metals brought the most fish.20210525_191135.jpg20210525_190154.jpg

Not as bad as catching nothing, that looks like a Coalfish not a Pollack, I wish they were as common down here in the south.

Wee coalies are great fun on ultralight gear. ?
