Morning
So with a friend of mine we hit west chesil
for flats and a chance of a ray
Conditions were good south/south west wind gusting some heavy squalls coming and going
Got to the beach around 1pm ..no tide flow
missed low around 11.30 am
Baits were coming back untouched by crabs so fairly devoid of life
We kept a ray bait and a wishbone for flats
constantly replenished with fresh bait at various distances
Took until 4pm for Pete to slide the first plaice up the beach, around 5pm I had a double shot
Ray baits untouched until dark then dogs and pout came on the feed , time to go
me thinks ha !!
Enjoyed the session with Pete and count
the day as a small win as it’s so hard at the mo
Bring on the warmer weather and I think
chesil will start rewarding
Stay lucky
